Every import arrives as a stack of paper to reconcile by hand: commercial invoices, packing lists, and arrival notices that have to be matched to the correct master or house bill of lading before anyone can touch a 7501. Brokers retype the same fields across documents into the entry summary, and a single mismatched bill or missed arrival notice stalls the filing and risks a late entry.
