AR & AP Automation

Cash Application

Applies incoming payments and remittances automatically.

What it does

When a customer pays, the remittance often arrives separately from the payment: an emailed payment advice or a document dropped in a customer portal, with reference numbers that do not line up cleanly to your open invoices. The Cash Application agent reads that remittance, matches each payment to the right open invoice even when the references are partial or scattered across loads, and applies the cash automatically. It clears the open balances and keeps your TMS and accounting system of record current, then surfaces anything it cannot confidently match for a person to resolve instead of guessing.

When it runs

It fires the moment a payment or remittance advice arrives, watching the shared inboxes and customer portals where remittances land.

Impact

Cash that used to sit in a reconciliation queue gets applied the day it arrives, so open AR reflects reality and your DSO stops drifting on posting lag instead of payment terms. Your finance team stops hand-keying remittances and chasing reference numbers across loads, and mismatches are flagged early instead of surfacing weeks later in a month-end scramble. This is the back half of the closeout-to-cash cycle moving at speed: paid loads close fast and the books stay clean.
