Accessorial Detection
Catches accessorials so they are not missed at billing.
What it does
Accessorials such as extra stops and layovers get arranged in a load tender thread, a portal message, or a dispatcher's note, then never reach the invoice because no one keyed them in. This agent reads those communications and documents as they land, identifies the accessorial, and matches it to the right load. It flags the charge for billing and writes it back to the TMS, with the source communication tied to the load so the charge is recorded against the shipment instead of lost in a thread.
When it runs
It runs whenever a communication or document signals an accessorial on an active load, such as an extra stop added by the customer or a layover confirmed with the carrier. It reads the inbound flow continuously, catching the charge when it is incurred rather than at billing.
Impact
Unbilled accessorials are margin walking out the door: the work was performed and the cost absorbed, but the charge never reached the invoice. Catching every extra stop and layover at the source recovers revenue reps miss when they are spread across hundreds of loads, and it speeds load closeout to cash by getting accurate charges onto the invoice the first time. Because each charge is tied to the message or document that triggered it, it holds up if a customer or carrier disputes it.
